MFT Camp create Challenge Spectacular Shaker !

Hello friends,
I'm playing along MFT camp create challenge Spectacular shakers. This is my first shaker card using MFT Mini cloud outline dienamics. I had so much fun in making CAS baby boy card.
Tutorial:
  • For making this cloud shaker, die cut the mini clouds several times ( 6 to 7 times including acetate sheet) and glue them.
  • Then add some sequins to the clouds and place them onto the white cardstock. 
  • Glue some of the sequins under the clouds and stamp the sentiment.

Supplies used:
  • MFT Mini cloud outline dienamics.
  • Bristol smooth cardstock
  • Acetate sheet
  • Picket Fence shark blue sequins

Wonderful watercolor!

Hello friends,
Have you participated in the MFT Camp create challenge ? If not, join the challenge, it so fun and you have to use watercolors for the Day 1. So I have created a watercolored background inspired by Stephanie.

Tutorial:
  • Stamp all the images from MFT Polynesian Paradaise stamp set onto the bristol smooth cardstock, color them and cut the shape out
  • Make the background with blue,pink,yellow and violet watercolors and allow them to dry for sometime.
  • Design the palm trees using black marker.
  • Complete the card by placing the images and sentiment.
Supplies Used:
  • MFT Polynesian paradise stamp
  • Strathnmore Bristol smooth cardstock 
  • Camlin watercolors
  • Copic markers.

Hi friends,
I'm back again to share a couple of cards designed this weekened. I have created this card with watercolors.

Tutorial:
  • Make the background with partial die cut using Penny-Black-DRAGONFLY-FRAME--Dies onto the canson watercolor paper.
  • Watercolor the background with shades of green and pink
  • Again use the same die and cut the dragonfly shape out and watercolor them too.
  • Atlast arrange the dragonfly and sentiment.

DT Post for Creations In Pink

Hello all, I'm sharing my DT inspiration post for the challenge over at Creations In pink. Our theme is ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES as long as you have more Pink than any other colors. I have made a simple and easy card by using watercolors for the background



Tutorial:
  • Stamp the images from  Picket Fence wild heart gypsy soul using memnto tuxedo black ink onto Bristol smooth cardstock,color them and fussy cut it.
  • For the background, use wet on wet technique and paint them with pink and allow it to dry.
  • Atlast place the images and sentiment.

Altered Art !

Hi all,
Today I came up with a new series of art - Altered Art, this is so fun and happy to recycle the waste products. I have turned a wine bottle into a beautiful home decor.
Tutorial:
  • Remove the labels from the bottle and apply a thick coat of white gesso/ black gesso.(if you are using white gesso, then coat it with black acrylic)
  • Arrange the embellishments, flowers and other items onto the bottle using E6000 glue and allow them to dry for few hours.
  • Now paint them with black acrylic/ black gesso and make sure to cover the entire bottle in black.
  • Paint a coat of gold, silver, purple, green and blue pearl metallic colors here and there until you are satisfied the with designs.

  • Black acrylic
  • Pearl metallic colors
  • E6000 glue

Best Birthday Wishes !

Hi there,
Today I came up with a birthday card using MFT stamps and foiling for the sentiments. I had so much fun in using these glittery foils, I got long back in 2012 for my nail art obsession. I'm feeling nostalgic thinking about the good old days.

Tutorial:
  • Stamp all the images from MFT BB Birthday Chick stamp set onto a Bristol smooth cardstock.
  • Color them using copics and fussy cut it.
  • Cut a rectangle shape from a yellow cardstock and create a stripes pattern using LDRS Creative playful pattern Stencil along with Fossilized Amber Distress ink.
  • Die cut the birthday wishes sentiment from Spellbinder using foils(Stick the foil paper onto the sizzix adhesive sheet and die cut them) and paste it over the yellow cardstock
  • Place the above created pattern onto a black cardstock. Draw some stars on the black cardstock using white gel pen.
  • Arrange the chick images onto the cardstock using foam tape and complete the card.

Stay Salty !

Hello everyone
I would like to share a mermaid card with you today. This beautiful mermaid stamp set is from Picket Fence Studios.


Tutorial:
  • Stamp the mermaid,fishes & seahorse images from I-am-a-mermaid stamp set onto Bristol smooth cardstock using Mini Misti
  • Color those images with copics and fussy cut them. You can use any coloring medium of your choice.
  • Create an ombre background using Altnew crisp dye ink Lagoon, Altnew Ocean Waves and Altenew Mountain Mist on Bristol smooth cardstock with the help of Life changing blender brushes
  • Later, use fish-scales-stencil along with Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and complete the background.
  • Then arrange the colored images and heat emboss the sentiment with Black embossing powder.
