Wine Bottle painting Series 3

Hello friends,

I always interested in recycling the waste materials. Recently, started collecting wine bottles which looks unique and different. I decided to make a family bottle painting series, already posted two bottle painting in my blog. This is the last one.

Tutorial:
  • There is a easy way to remove the label/sticker from the bottle, fill the bottle with hot waster for 20 mins or more. Later peel the sticker from one end to another.
  • Apply a coat of white gesso over the bottle and allow it to dry.
  • Then apply chalk paint or acrylic over it.
  • Design a pattern on the bottle with pencil
  • Stick air dry clay over the design and allow it to dry before coloring. ( I used clay only for the head portion)
  • Paint the bottle with acrylic colors.
  • Atlast give a coat of varnish.

I made a video tutorial for this creation. Please subscribe to my channel Artconquers for more DIY projects

Abstract Ganesha Painting Series 2

Hi all,

This time I tried an easy and simple abstract Ganesha painting. I love to paint more and more, it becomes a therapy for me. Initially started my acrylic painting on Ice cream sticks cause I worried that I will ruin the canvas by painting. Slowly I practiced painting on other mediums like bottle, MDF board, clay and then canvas. Now I can't stop myself painting on canvas :)

  • Cover the sides of the canvas with the masking tape.
  • Sketch a rough diagram on the canvas with pencil
  • Color the background first leaving the Ganesha face.
  • Create a horizontal & vertical strokes with the flat brush
  • Paint the Ganesha face with round brush
  • Atlast apply a coat of varnish

I made a video tutorial for the same. Please subscribe to my channel for Artconquers more videos.

Materials Required:
  • Canvas board 9*12 inch
  • Acrylic Colors
  • Flat brush Size 12
