I'm happy and excited to join the wonderful team Denise boddey designs. Today I want to share a altered art using Denise Boddey Steampunk card toppers. I had so much fun in making this altered art and I love those steampunk designs. I'm working on the upcoming projects with beautiful chipboards from Denise boddey designs. Stay Tuned.
I'm back to share another DT post for RG Avenue using their new release products. I have used their "Dream Key" stamps, Media mixer and reinkers. You can watch the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel, follow the link for Mixed Media Art.
Tutorial:
Apply thick coat of crackle paste over the stencil on the canvas. Allow it to dry for 24 hours or more.
Mix a drop of reinkers with media mixer and paint it over the canvas and allow them to dry.
Use Handwritten stamp from RG Avenue and stamp it over the canvas using black dye ink
Stamp the images from Dream Key onto the cardstock, color them and cut the shape out.
Good Morning! This month release from RG Avenue are fabulous and I loved the stamps so much. I thought these beautiful stamps are perfect for my project. It's been a while since I created a mixed media on canvas, so planned to do one with some glitters. I have shared a video tutorial for this mixed media in my YouTube channel.
Tutorial:
Apply a thick coat of crackle paste on the canvas using palette knife
Allow them to dry for 24 or more.
Mix the reinkers with water in a Spritz bottle. Spray the colors of your choice and allow it to dry for few hours.
Color the "Create Amaze" stamps using Copics and cut the shape out.
Now, arrange the images on to the canvas using double tape.
A place I enjoy the most is Beach. The waves touches the
feet is the wonderful feeling ever and makes us to forget the stressful life.
The beach is not only known as a place to relax ,but as a place of beauty. One
can visit the beach at any season be it a summer, winter or rainy. In my
experience, one can visit the beach during rainy season,Petrichor, the pleasant
earthen smell is the best thing in the world. I tried the beach scene in my
Mixed Media Art.
Procedure:
Apply gesso on the plain MDF board
Color the sky with blue and sea green chalk paint and the beach sand with acrylic color
Apply modeling paste over the sentcil like plants, dragonfly, butterfly and shells and color them once it dries.
Use texture paste for the look of beach foam/waves
Make the flip flop and birds using quilling paper and stick it on the board
For creating the word "RELAX", cut a cardboard in the shapes of alphabet and cover them with map.
Dab some black distress ink on the edges for a vintage look
Closer look of my project shows map is used for the alphabets. I have shared the video in my Youtube Channel ArtConquers. Please subscribe to my channel for more DIY,Art & craft
