Birthday comes once in a year, so make it count by surprising your loved ones with warm wishes and gifts. Birthdays are meant to be special, fill their day with lovely moments. When it comes to presents, always handmade gifts are the best option and make their day as a memorable one.
I made a simple birthday card by incorporating quilling technique which is easy to learn.Hope any one can recreate the same with zero knowledge of quilling.
Procedure:
- Draw a character of your choice, I used a anime girl.
- Color them with acrylic
- Make a outline of the picture by pasting the quilling strip along the sides.
- Starting from the top make a loose coil for cap and hair and tight coil for face, legs & hand.
- Use beehive/honeycomb technique for the outfit.
- At last, complete the girl by quilling the face features.
- Cut the picture out and paste it in a cardstock.
