Mixed Media Art on Canvas

Hello friends,

I'm happy to share this mixed media art on canvas using Denise Boddedy's Chipboard Autumn scroll squareDeco lace square half circle,Button leaves.




How to:
  • Apply a crackle paste on a canvas of size 5*7inch and allow it to dry
  • Start arranging the chipboard and foam flowers on the canvas with the help of adhesive.
  • Splash little drops of pink and green color ink onto the canvas.
  • At last make some paint strokes with the acrylic.

Guest Designer at Bleeding Art Challenge !

Hello everyone,
I'm glad to be the guest designer this month at Bleeding art challenge. I tried making an altered mixed media art using products from Beacon as part of the same challenge back in Feb and I am happy that the team liked my work and I received wonderful products from them. I would definitely recommend these Beacon adhesive's to the art world as they are strong, quick drying in nature and not messy.

Mixed Media Tags !

Hello friends,
I'm back to share a mixed media tags using RG Avenue's product. I had so much fun in creating this project by stamping, stenciling, coloring and spraying. I have used complimentary colors for each tag blue & orange, yellow & purple, Red & green. You can check out the video tutorial at my channel.

Graphic 45 2020 Brand Ambassador Audition

Hi there,
I’m happy and excited  to be auditioning Graphic 45 team, their products are unique and amazing. Today I’m sharing  a mixed media frame for “Graphic 45 2020 Brand Ambassador Audition" using RG Avenue's latest products. I made these foam flowers using their blooming layer die cuts, such a versatile product. I have created a video process on my YouTube Channel.

Tutorial:
  • Apply a thick coat of modeling paste/ heavy gesso on the photo frame using stencil. Allow them to dry for few hours.
  • Next paint the frame with grey acrylic followed by yellow ochre color on the designs.
  • Die cut the foam sheet using blooming layer dies and apply some heat onto the flower petals .
  • Glue all the flower petals and color it with reinker sprays.
  • Atlast arrage the flowers and leaves on the frame.

Live Colorful !

Hello Friends,
I'm back to share a unique slim line card using basic color cardstock from RG avenue which is in offer now, hurry up and get it. I have colored this cutie from Picket Fence Stamp - Beautiful Girl Isabella and Wild Heart Gypsy Soul
How to:
  • Stamp the image Beautiful Girl onto the cardstock, color them with copics and cut the shape out.
  • Use Hexa Layer die cuts from RG avenue and stamp the image "Wild heart " onto the shape and color them with pencils.
  • Paste a black cardstock onto the kraft one. 
  • Atlast arrange all the shapes and images and stamp the sentiment.

Dream Key - Mixed media art !

Hi there,
I'm back to share another DT post for RG Avenue using their new release products. I have used their "Dream Key" stamps, Media mixer and reinkers. You can watch the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel, follow the link for Mixed Media Art.

Tutorial:
  • Apply thick coat of crackle paste over the stencil on the canvas. Allow it to dry for 24 hours or more.
  • Mix a drop of reinkers with media mixer and paint it over the canvas and allow them to dry.
  • Use Handwritten stamp from RG Avenue and stamp it over the canvas using black dye ink
  • Stamp the images from Dream Key onto the cardstock, color them and cut the shape out.
  • Atlast arrange the images on to canvas.

  • Crackle Paste
  • RG Avenue Reinkers
  • Media Mixer
  • Paint Brush

Mixed Media Canvas - RG Avenue Inspiration Post

Hi there,
Good Morning! This month release from RG Avenue are fabulous and I loved the stamps so much. I thought these beautiful stamps are perfect for my project. It's been a while since I created a mixed media on canvas, so planned to do one with some glitters. I have shared a video tutorial for this mixed media in my YouTube channel.

Tutorial:
  • Apply a thick coat of crackle paste on the canvas using palette knife
  • Allow them to dry for 24 or more.
  • Mix the reinkers with water in a Spritz bottle. Spray the colors of your choice and allow it to dry for few hours.
  • Color the "Create Amaze" stamps using Copics and cut the shape out.
  • Now, arrange the images on to the canvas using double tape.
  • Atlast add some glitters on the canvas.

Mixed Media Love card !!

Hi there,
Awww, It's monday again ! Hope everyone had a great weekend. And we are in February, the month of love. I have decided to make a Mixed media love card using our Feb release product "Love Sent" Stamp from RG's Avenue. I have designed the background with some doodling, love it how its turned out.
Tutorial:
  • Color the "Love Sent" Digi stamp using copic coloring and cut the shape out.
  • Paint the mixed media card with acrylic colors
  • Then draw some random patterns and designs  of your choice
  • Give a outline with black and white pens.
  • Atlast arrange the colored image and sentiments onto the cardstock

  • 'Love Note' RG avenue sentiment stamp

You are Purrfect..!!

Hi there,
Happy Sunday, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Today I'm going to share my DT post for RG Avenue featuring their products. This month will focus on Valentine Day and love with old and new stampsets. I have created a mixed media card with the new release stampset "Pawesome",such a cute critters. I have an awesome news that they are conducting a fun Valentine virtual class, this class includes Pawesome Stamp set, 5 card kits and instructions to re-create. Hurry up to get your slots ASAP.

How to:
  • Make a abstract strokes with red,grey,pink acrylic using palette knife on mixed media paper,allow them to try for few minutes
  • Now, using Fun-fills-stamp-set, stamp randomly onto the cardstock .
  • Die cuts the hearts using Deco-strips on a sour mist cardstock. Color the hearts with blue acrylic.
  • Stamp the Pawesome" images onto the white cardstock and color them copic.
  • Atlast arrange the hearts at the right corner and paste it, later stick the images and sentiments.

Mixed Media Card !

Hi there,
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm enjoying by making cards and editing my art videos.I will be sharing with you in the following week. Now, I am going to share a mixed media card using RG Avenue's product. I had so much fun in making those fomiran flowers using Blooming layer die cuts.

How to:
  • For the background, use RG avenue's reinkers and spray some water on the mixed media paper. 
  • Use Dazzling Pat for shining/glittering effect and allow them dry for few minutes.
  • Now die cut the white foamiran sheet using Blooming layer die, later color them using dye inks.
  • Now arrange the flowers and leaves onto the paper.
  • Atlast,die cut all the alphabets and stick it to the card.

Mixed Media Canvas

Hello all,
Happy Friday! Any plans for the weekend ? I am planning to see fall colors nearby places, so excited to capture those beautiful colors. Apart from that I have to do lot of crafting projects for my near and dear ones. I think I have to spend most of the nights in my crafting studio, before that I have to clean up the mess while creating the background of this mixed media canvas. Though I have enjoyed designing the textural background with napkins and reinkers.

How to:
  • Place the napkins randomly and glue to the canvas.
  • Add a little drops of Sour watermelon, sour pineapple,sweet pink,sweet banana Reinkers from RG Avenue and spray water to get the desired background.
  • Paint the edges of the canvas board with white and black acrylic.
  • Color and fussy cut the RG Avenue Flutter sight digital stamps
  • Heat emboss the butterflies from RG Avenue Be bold stampset and color them.
  • Atlast arrange the images onto the canvas board.

Mixed Media Altered Art

Hello friends,
Hope you are doing good! It seems like a long time since I wrote my blog. I've been busy celebrating Navratri last weekend and happy to share the good news that I'm part of the wonderful team RG Aveneue. How to:
  • Apply a coat of white gesso over the bottle. Then paint them with green,blue and brown acrylic,allow it to dry.
  • In the meantime, stamp the image from RG Avenue "Boho lens" onto the bristol smooth cardstock and color them with copic markers.
  • Paste this colored image over the bottle. Stick some foam flowers and decorate the remaining space with RG Avenue die cut "Summer leaves"

Altered Art !

Hi all,
Today I came up with a new series of art - Altered Art, this is so fun and happy to recycle the waste products. I have turned a wine bottle into a beautiful home decor.
Tutorial:
  • Remove the labels from the bottle and apply a thick coat of white gesso/ black gesso.(if you are using white gesso, then coat it with black acrylic)
  • Arrange the embellishments, flowers and other items onto the bottle using E6000 glue and allow them to dry for few hours.
  • Now paint them with black acrylic/ black gesso and make sure to cover the entire bottle in black.
  • Paint a coat of gold, silver, purple, green and blue pearl metallic colors here and there until you are satisfied the with designs.

  • White gesso
  • Black acrylic
  • Pearl metallic colors
  • E6000 glue
